  The Advisory Committee (AC), comprises the Chairman, Mr. Teo Chong Tee (Honorary Group Chairman) and other professionals in the industry. The AC Committee meets three times a year and advises the Management Team on market developments in the educational and related service industries.

Function:

  1. To advise on Dimensions' Business Development Policies & Programs, particularly in relation to the Government's Educational Policies on PEOs.

  2. To work and liaise with the Government Agencies (EDB, MPE, STPB, SPRING, CPE, ICA) so as to achieve Dimensions' long term business objectives.

  3. To advise on the educational programs and quality improvement activities and achieve educational excellence for Dimensions.

        Mr. Teo Chong Tee (BBM, JP)
 

Mr. Teo Chong Tee, JP was a Member of Parliament, Singapore from 1976 to 1996. He served in the CHANGI Constituency for 20 years. In September 1981, he was seconded to the Government as a Parliamentary Secretary for a 5-year term. Throughout the period, he held various government portfolios in different ministries. From 1981 to 1984, he was appointed the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Social Affairs, and concurrently, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of the Environment. From 1985 to 1986, he served as a Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Community Development.

In April 1982, Mr. Teo was appointed the President of Football Association of Singapore (FAS) for a two 3-year term. Subsequently, he was elected as a Singapore representative in the Asian Football Confederation. During his tenure, he successfully negotiated with the Football Association of Malaysia for the return of Singapore's participation in the Malaysia Cup soccer competitions.

Mr. Teo's illustrious career started in Malayan Airways at Paya Lebar Airport in July 1962, commencing his first employment in an airline as a Junior Traffic Clerk. He worked his way up the rank in Malaysian Airways, Malaysia-Singapore Airlines, Singapore Airlines and subsequently, in the Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS). He was the Airport Manager for the airline at Taipei International Airport (Taiwan) from 1970 to 1974. His vast experience as Vice President, Passenger Services in the SATS Ground Handling Services, had helped Changi Airport achieve its accolades as the best airport in the world for several years. He last held the post of Vice President, Cargo Services Division. He graciously retired from SATS in July 2003 after 41 years of his dedicated and conscientious service in the airline industry.

Mr. Teo has been appointed Justice of the Peace (JP) by the President of the Republic of Singapore since 1998. In this capacity, he serves as a Deputy Registrar, licensed to solemnize marriages on behalf of the Registry of Marriages. He also serves in several other committees in the prison service as appointed by the Minister for Home Affairs. On 9th August 2009, Singapore's 44th National Day, Mr. Teo was awarded The Public Service Star (BBM) by President S.R. Nathan for his invaluable contributions in the Singapore Prison Service.

Mr. Teo joined Dimensions International College as the Honorary Group Chairman and Chairman of Advisory Committee in July 2005.
