On an eventful Friday evening, 23rd October, teachers and students gathered together for the very first time to take part in the enriching Leadership Training Camp, held till mid-afternoon of 25th October. Held at our very own well-acquainted, Dimensions International College, students were given added familiarity to roam and socialize throughout their camp-stay. Participants got into deep-bonding, anticipated the excitement and thrill of new adventures away from home, while teachers got to see their students mingling in a supportive and friendly environment.

After the electrifying two (2) days' and two (2) nights' camp, students managed to learn several qualities desirable to be a good leader with great responsibilities.

A newly introduced event, the Leadership Training Camp was brought in as an important curriculum to Dimensions International College. The camp focused on developing and improving the leadership skills of each attendee, teaching them to harness great power and responsibility. Students demonstrated their effective teamwork and communication skills in an English-Speaking-environment. These different aspects of the camp also promoted, complemented and enhanced better classroom learning and students interactions.   

At the closing ceremony, Mr. Vincent Tan Peng Choong, CEO of Dimensions International College, was cordially invited to address the participants and to present tokens of appreciation to the instructors involved. He expressed his happiness on seeing the interest, enthusiasm and high morale being displayed among the students who took active part in this thrilling event.

All fifty-nine (59) students participated were from ‘O’ and ‘A’ level classes (class 59 to 68). The teachers involved included, Mr. Philip Yuen, Mr. Jared Loh, Mr. Roland Loke, Mr. Jarrod Howe, Mr. Allen Chong, Mr. Ron Kow, Mr. Jack Chew. Ms. Jamie Lim, Ms. Samantha Sow, Ms. Donna Rose Bado, Mr. Yang Pei Gen (General Manager/ Academic) and Mr. Cheang Kok Ming. Other personnel involved were 14 voluntary instructors led by Ms. Raine Goh, an avid community volunteer, making this first ever camp, interactive, enjoyable and successful.
