The Standard PEI-Student Contract is a very important legal document between Dimensions and the student. Each student contract will be given a unique contract number.
Dimensions will explain the following contents of the student contract in English or in the native language of the student, where applicable.
Course information and Fees
Refund Policy
Fee Protection Scheme
Medical Insurance Scheme
Other information like how to apply for student’s pass
Sample of the Standard PEI-Student Contract is available on Dimensions’ website.
Students cannot sign multiple student contracts unless the courses are conducted concurrently. A separate student contract is signed for every course enrolled.
Students are required to sign two original sets of student contract and will retain one set for personal reference.
If any amendment is made which will change the original intent of the contract, the student and the college must sign beside the amendment(s) on both sets of the student contracts. (Note: The “printed strike-offs” by Dimensions in the student contract do not constitute amendments.)
All entries must be made in the student contract (DO NOT leave blanks). Where it is not applicable, it must be filled with “not applicable or N/A”
For new students enrolling, a cooling-off period of 7 working days will be given after signing the Standard PEI-Student Contract. Within these 7 days and regardless of whether the Course Commencement Date has passed, students can submit a written notice of withdrawal to Dimensions and receive the maximum refund as given in the Refund Policy.
Medical insurance coverage for students will be provided by the college. However, students may opt out if he/she is a Singapore citizen, permanent resident or international student not holding a Student’s Pass and are already covered by their own medical insurance plan for the required minimum amount of coverage.
