The BA (Honors) Degree in Hospitality Industry Management is specifically designed to provide students with a sound theoretical and practical knowledge of all the key related areas. The course offers management subjects to prepare students to be able to function at managerial level in a wide range of establishments ranging from leading hotels, resorts, country clubs and restaurants to catering institutions.

Students first have to successfully complete the BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) programme and will have an advanced standing into the final (third) year of the University of Gloucestershire, subject to the entry requirements of the English proficiency. Upon completion of the final (third) year, students are eligible to obtain the Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Hospitality Industry Management from University of Gloucestershire.

 
  University of Gloucestershire is a very established teaching institute with 200 years of teaching history. It was rated by the Guardian University Guide, UK, as one of the top 10 institutions for Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality degrees in UK. It is also ranked as 28th out of 106 UK Universities for the excellent student experience. The innovative teaching and learning approach of the university has earned the university such a high ranking. Its Business School is located at Cheltenham, a modern and exciting arts and tourism town. The courses offered are about gathering skills for the working world, and the practical and problem-based learning approach of the university would prepare students for their employment.  
     
 
  • To provide students with an understanding of the complexity of the tourism and hospitality industry, multi-disciplinary skills and the ability to successfully manage a resort complex.
  • To develop the knowledge and skills necessary for positions within the IR projects.
  • To create awareness in regards to the demanding nature of the service industry.
  • To equip students with sufficient knowledge & techniques in order to enable them to assist decision makers in IR planning.

Note 1: This course will be conducted at the premises of Dimensions International College.
Note 2: International Student must achieve at least 90% attendance rate (ICA Requirement).

Note 3: International Student must not be absent for more than 7 consecutive days without valid
            reason (ICA Requirement).

Note 4: For students who are not ICA's student's pass holders, course attendance must be
            at least 80%.

            Our College only accept medical certificates as proof for absenteeism.
             Any other documents should only be accepted on a case-by-case basis with full
             justification and be acceptable by ICA.
