BTEC Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) have been at the forefront of cutting-edge professional qualification design. It is administered by Edexcel International, which was formed in 1996 by the merger of BTEC (the Business and Technology Education Council) and the University of London Examinations and Assessment Council. Edexcel is one of the largest qualification awarding bodies in UK, and is approved by the official UK authorities, the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA).

BTEC HND (Hospitality) is offered as a 20-month programme that is designed to equip you with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in current or future employment, or for progression to an undergraduate degree. Such qualification is widely recognized by many commonwealth countries and universities.

Students, who have successfully completed the BTEC HND programme, have an advanced standing into the final (third) year of the University of Gloucestershire, subject to the entry requirements of the English proficiency. Upon completion of the final (third) year, students are eligible to obtain the Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Hospitality Industry Management from University of Gloucestershire.

The BA (Honors) Degree in Hospitality Industry Management is specifically designed to provide students with a sound theoretical and practical knowledge of all the key related areas. The course offers management subjects to prepare students to be able to function at managerial level in a wide range of establishments ranging from leading hotels, resorts, country clubs and restaurants to catering institutions.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
 
Minimum Age for Entry : HND Year 1 & Year 2: 17 years old
(Complete minimum 11 years of education)
Degree: HND or above
IELTS : IELTS 6 or Equivalent is required for entry to 3rd year Honor
Degree in Hospitality Industry Management.
Duration : 20 months (HND)
12 months (Degree)
Days and time : Mondays to Fridays
3 contact hours per school day, plus another 3 hours for project
9.30am-12.30pm and 1.45pm-4.45pm
Intake : Jan, March, September and December
Examination Periods : 1-2 assignments for each module & examination at the end of each module
Teaching Methods : Lecture, Project, Assignment and Test.
Prerequisites for Graduation : 1) Attendance must be more than 90% and not absent for more than 7 consecutive days without valid reasons (ICA Requirements)
2) A pass in all the assignments and examinations.
Qualification Award : 1) Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management from Dimensions Commercial School Pte Ltd

2) BTEC Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) from Edexcel International, UK

3) B.A (Honors) in Hospitality Industry Management from University of Gloucestershire, after successful completion of final (third) year at Dimensions.

A)
To complete the Application Form you have to provide us the following:
  1. Photocopied educational certificates, transcripts, awards and testimonials.
  2. 4 passport-sized photographs. Kindly write your name on the reverse side of your photographs.
  3. Resume/C.V.
B) The completed Application Form must be submitted personally to the office of Dimensions Commercial School during office hours. Original certificates, transcripts, awards and testimonials must be presented to Dimensions Commercial School for verification purposes.
C) A signed Letter of Offer and a Standard Student Contract.
