and skills required to be successful. The IATA/UFTAA International
Travel & Tourism Training Programme has been expertly

Centre for Travel & Tourism Studies, established
in 1991 is an IATA/UFTAA Authorised Training Centre,

Level: |

The 13 modules in the Foundation
Level will provide you with a better understanding of
the travel & tourism industry. By successfully completing
the two-year paper examinations, you will become a qualified
holder of the IATA/UFTAA International Travel & Tourism
Foundation Diploma.
You will benefit by:
- Learning to make appropriate travel arrangements
and reservations;
- Calculate and quote appropriate airfares;
- Complete international travel documents in accordance
with the applicable IATA rules and procedures;
- Answer customers’ queries, quote rates and supplements,
explain conditions and book tour products;
- Acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge to
ensure that your front-line contact with the customer
is of a high standard and
- Developing an understanding of the role of information
technology – Global Distribution Systems and the Internet

Level: |
| |
| The 9 modules in the Consultant
Level will help you learn about more complex operations,
as well as an understanding of the consultative approach
to selling travel and tourism.
By successfully completing the two-year paper examination,
you will attain the IATA/UFTAA International
Travel and Tourism Consultant Diploma.
You will benefit by:
- Learning to handle all major aspects of the travel
agency business;
- Provide accurate advice to clients on major tourist
destinations;
- Produce customized and international exclusive tours;
- Sell international business, incentive and conference
travel arrangements;
- Construct complex fares and routings by applying
advanced IATA fare construction principles; issue
and re-issue tickets and other documents for all types
of international journeys;
- Becoming familiarize with common national requirements,
IATA’s regulations and the role of the National Travel
Agents’ Associations;
- Developing effective selling skills and
- Gaining an understanding of the billing and settlement
system to give your travel agency distinct operational
advantage in terms of its operations.

| The 7 modules in the Management
level will prepare you for higher-level responsibilities
such as accounting, staff supervision, negotiations and
product development.
By successfully completing the two-paper examination,
you will obtain an IATA/UFTAA International
Travel and Tourism Management Diploma.
You will benefit by:
- Learn the essential principles and strategies of
supervising and managing people
- Develop customized tours and gain a competitive
advantage
- Learn how to plan, organize and administer meetings,
incentives, conferences and exhibitions
- Be capable of establishing procedures and control
costs
- Understand the latest marketing trends and opportunities

Kindly write your name on the reverse
side of your photographs.

The completed Application Form must be submitted
personally to the office of Dimensions Commercial
School during office hours. Original certificates,
transcripts, awards and testimonials must be presented
to Dimensions Commercial School for verification
purposes. |
