The UK City & Guilds Pitman Qualifications in Food and Beverage Service is a highly respected qualification for people who want to work in the Hotel and Restaurant Industry, providing service to customers using internationally recognised standards.

This Advanced Diploma course covers relevant supervisory skills related subjects and is suitable for someone who has completed a Diploma performance or has relevant work experience in the industry in a supervisory capacity, who now wishes to enhance his career or pursue a degree in hospitality Management.

Important Note:
Candidates will be required to sit for a practical skills competency examination and a three hour written paper with 10 short answer questions. The practical skills checklists can be completed at any time during the teaching programme. We recommend that they are fully completed by the time of the written examination. Written examinations for each level are available every November and June. Details about the written tests and the checklists are all in our syllabus.
 
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Students must be at least 18 years of age and not older than 25 years old and must have successfully completed junior high school or its equivalent.
  • must have completed NITEC in Food & Beverage Operations/Diploma in Food & Beverage Service.
Duration : 9 months
Days and time : Monday to Friday
9.30am–12.30pm or 1.45pm–4.45pm
Intake : Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Nov (Bi-monthly)
Examination Periods : June, December
Pre-requisites for Completion : (a) Attendance must be more than 90% and not absent for more than 7 consecutive days without valid reason. ( ICA Requirements)
(b) A pass in all the examinations.
(c) Complete & Pass Industry Attachment.
Qualification Award : City & Guilds Pitman Advanced Diploma in Food & Beverage Service.
 
APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
 
A)
To complete the Application Form you have to provide us the following:
  1. Photocopied educational certificates, transcripts, awards and testimonials.
  2. 4 passport-sized photographs. Kindly write your name on the reverse side of your photographs.
  3. Resume/C.V.
B) The completed Application Form must be submitted personally to the office of Dimensions Commercial School during office hours. Original certificates, transcripts, awards and testimonials must be presented to Dimensions Commercial School for verification purposes.
C) A signed Letter of Offer and a Standard Student Contract.
